I was watching undressed tonight when abstanance came up. It got me a little excited and I tried to figure out why.
It's the same kind of feeling I got when I was reading about 'black ice' in neuromancer. It's the impenetrable wall, built to keep people out, yet its ulterior purpose is to serve as a gauntlet, so that only those worthy are able to take it down or navigate through its field.
Sort of weird, but when I find obstacles like that, with people as well as other problems, it's exciting to me as an opportunity, a challenge. The jury is decidedly out as to whether this is a good thing or not.
